A link will be provided here when the project is complete. Student online discussion groupsStudy Groups take many different forms. They can be conducted in person, via telephone or online. Enhance your own experiences by connecting with other student for study, mutual support, and discussion. You can find a study group most easily via the discussion forums in your MUSO (Monash University Studies Online) subject sites. Off Campus Students' AssociationThe Off Campus Students' Association (OCSA) brings together students studying off campus. Its site includes descriptions of the services offered, including:
TutoringIf you’re having difficulties with any of your assessment, Monash has a tutoring service which may be able to help you locate a tutor. Careers, employment and professional developmentMonash University Careers and Employment provides information and resources to help graduate job seekers. You can get help with career interests, resume or CV styles, interview techniques, and Australian and international employers. You can also find out about courses and access a range of careers articles and publications. Information on Volunteering opportunities with external organisations is also available. AccommodationMonash Residential Services (MRS) assists students by providing an on-campus housing. Health, Wellbeing and DevelopmentHealth, Wellbeing and Development, formerly known as Community Services, offers you support and advice in the following areas:
Disability Liaison Unit (DLU)If you have a disability or long term medical condition, you are advised to register with the Disability Liaison Unit so that Monash can help support and facilitate your requirements, including making alternative arrangements for assessments and exams if required. FinanceMonash University has a student loan fund which aims to financially assist student who are experiencing financial difficulties that could affect their ability to complete their course. You can discuss your situation with a student financial adviser and apply for a loan if appropriate. Additional information can be found at Student Financial Aid. Language and Learning OnlineLanguage and Learning Online offers assistance to students who wish to improve their academic performance in areas of essay, report and thesis writing; reading and notetaking; grammar; listening to lectures; giving oral presentations; and much more.
